When it shines on things, they are transformed.<\/i><\/p><p>I have talked extensively about the benefits of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mariaortegagarcia.com\/es\/spanish-blog\/meditation-and-language-learning\/\">meditation for your language learning<\/a>\u00a0practice. Having a calm mind will result in a more efficient Spanish practice, but what if you combine meditation with Spanish at the same time? Like, listening to a guided meditation in Spanish, for example?<\/p><p>One of the first elements in a guided meditation is a body scan (<i>escaneo corporal<\/i>), which helps you drop into your body. Only doing that body exploration is powerful in itself, but when you do your body scan in Spanish, you are feeling the body parts while listening to the Spanish word and you are doing it in a complete state of calm and focus.<\/p><p><b>You are transforming mind into matter. Words into reality.<\/b><\/p><p>When you do a body scan in a Spanish guided meditation, you are going beyond the brain understanding of the word, you are creating a connection between the word with the body part forming a neural pathway in your brain.<\/p><p>And this, my friend, is the way to internalize the language!<\/p><p>So, let\u2019s do this!<\/p><p>I have recorded a 4 minutes body scan in Spanish for you to listen to. Dirige tu atenci\u00f3n ahora a la\u00a0<\/i><i>parte baja de la espalda<\/i><i>\u00a0y sube tu atenci\u00f3n por tu espalda hasta la parte superior, nota tus\u00a0<\/i><i>paletillas<\/i><i>\u00a0y tus\u00a0<\/i><i>hombros<\/i><i>. \u00bfNotas alguna tensi\u00f3n en aqu\u00ed?
