I am interested in education, particularly language learning, creative writing and wellbeing. These three areas overlap in every aspect of my work.
I am currently working as a teacher in the Spanish as a Foreign Language Master’s where I guide and support students in their Master’s Thesis for the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (Spain), and also I am delivering a course for the teacher and research faculty of the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) about trauma informed education, tools for tutoring and guidance.

Children often struggle to name their emotions, especially when carrying stress, trauma, or unspoken pain. Through poetry, painting, or shaping clay, their inner world finds safe expression in symbols and metaphors. This talk explores how creative acts become bridges between silence and story, helping us listen to what cannot yet be said.

- ¿Qué es el trauma y cómo se manifiesta en contextos educativos
- Impacto de la pandemia y otras experiencias adversas en el alumnado universitario.
- Señales de alerta y respuestas frecuentes al trauma en jóvenes adultos.
- Marco general* de la educación informada sobre el trauma.
Sesión 2 (2h): “Aplicar una mirada informada sobre el trauma en la acción tutorial y la orientación”
- Principios de la orientación educativa informada sobre el trauma: seguridad, confianza, colaboración, empoderamiento.
- Estrategias prácticas para docentes y tutores: comunicación segura, manejo emocional, red de apoyo.
- Casos prácticos y dinámicas colaborativas.
- Conexión con los planes de acción tutorial existentes (PAT) y propuestas de mejora

En esta charla hablamos de una educación de idiomas sensible al trauma, del translenguaje y del uso de la poesía como herramienta de aprendizaje de lenguas y autoconocimiento dentro del aula.
